Invites, Custom Searches and a Sweet Demo of Google Wave
I have a copy of Join the Conversation coming--can't wait. I'm thinking Avinash Kaushik's book might be a good idea for me, too. Thanks for point it out.
Best of luck in your reading. The most difficult part is finding time in your routine that works, and building it into a bit of a habit.
Cheers,
Connie
I've got to stick to my goal of 12 books this year. We'll see what happens. Good luck to you!
Cheers,
Dave
Thanks for the book review 4 I may check it out. Like you, I try to read at least one book a month but I don't have children so I should be able to make my goal if you can with little ones.
Despite my ramblings, have you thought of joining goodreads.com or shelfari.com to show us what you are reading or what is in your library. Do you have accounts there? That is how I keep up with all the books I want to read.
The book will be a gift to people who do not "get internet" marketing.
Yes, it's tough to find the time to read with the wee ones. I haven't joined any social networks around reading mainly because I don't read that much. I also don't find books I want to read nearly as often as films I want to see. So, while my NetFlix queue continues to grow, I'm not so sure about a personal need for those sites.
However, I do really love www.bookcrossing.com. I blogged about it here: http://newmedianashville.blogspot.com/2007/03/e...
Let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Dave
I remember when Julien Smith was trying to read a book a week. That's crazy. http://snurl.com/1zya1 [inoveryourhead_net]
Do keep me up to date with your success! I'd love to know what you think of the books. Cheers.
i've got both of these books in my queue... crazy how we're all reading the same stuff, eh?
Happy reading. My review for Join the Conversation is live on Amazon: http://snurl.com/203aw [www_amazon_com]
Cheers.
