Sorry you couldn't make it Dave... it felt like you were there anyway though!

    Thanks buddy.

    Any favourite speakers?

Too many - Neil Gorman, Jay and Chris were all good today; Tim Coyne, John Meadows and Scarborough Dude, Tod Maffin and Sylvain Grand'maison were good yesterday. Those were my favourites but they were almost all good.

Thanks Dave. I caught some of Tod's, Sylvain's, Jay and Chris. They were all
really good. I'm dying to see them all, or at least hear them all soon.

    Keep in touch buddy!

    Cheers,
    Dave

Great notes, Dave. I'm glad you were able to attend and engage remotely. This year's backchannel was extremely productive and I'm glad for folks like Chris and others hat made it possible ad kept it active.

Next year, Dave, you can grab a seat on a couch at the front of the real conference room.
  • Dave Delaney · 1 year ago
Thanks Mark. I intend to be front and centre on one of those couches.
Speaking of, was that your idea or the hotel's?

    Cheers,

I'm so glad you could still be there virtually, Dave! We missed you in person. Thanks so much for sending in the great video. :-)

    Cheers,
    Connie

I missed you guys too. It was nice to "sort of" be there anyway. Next time I'll be there in person. Glad you enjoyed our video.

Dave, I know how disappointed yo were not physically being at PAB. I have to agree with Dave Fleet because it definitely felt like you were there, particularly with your personalized twitter and meebo messages. I hope we're all able to reconvene at PAB 2009 in person, and if not, thanks for sharing tips on how to participate from the couch.
  • Dave Delaney · 1 year ago
Thanks Eden. I hope to see you guys soon enough. Perhaps an impromptu Tweet
Meet Up next time I'm in town. I'll keep you posted there.
Don't forget that BarCamp Nashville is in early October. I would love to
rally some folks from the Great White North to be there.

    Cheers,
    Dave

An impromptu tweet meet up sounds great. I'd love to go to BarCamp Nashville but unless I decided to monitize my blog, it's probably not in the cards. Hope you'll be livestreaming for those of us wanting to participate remotely.
  • Dave Delaney · 1 year ago
I certainly hope we can livestream it! After PAB it's a must, eh?

See you soon enough, I'm sure.

    Cheers,
    Dave

I'm surprised you didn't add twitter or an RSS reader. interesting post in the days of wicked expensive gasoline.
  • Dave Delaney · 1 year ago
Thanks Nathan. Great to hear from you. I hope to see you Thursday for
    breakfast.
The Twitter app I used with Twhirl, so I could follow the tweets. You know I
actually did set up a Google Alert in my RSS feed for "Podcasters Across
Borders" and "PAB2008". I forgot about that when I wrote the post - ha! Nice
    one buddy.

    Hope to see you Thursday.

    Cheers,
    Dave

Yeah but you missed the best stuff - Merchant Bar and the cruise.

You've got to find an app that can get you on that ship;)
