  • Oh the good ol' days, eh?
How are things Robert? Sunny or cloudy?
I'll be seeing Geoff Smith soon at The Big Bang for a Twitter meet-up. I'm
    looking forward to that.

    Cheers,
    Dave
  • That's awesome! What a great way to celebrate! Now, if you could et 8,000 views and 8,000 comments. :)
  • 8,000 views eh? That would be sweet!
    Thanks Tracy.
  • Do ANY of these folks even know what tweets are? Great video...creative, funny and a way to celebrate tweets without tweeting.
  • Thanks Shannon:
Yes, it was funny to see that they had no idea what I was on about. Some
thought it was something dirty and were worried about being in the video :-)
Reminds me of a t-shirt I once saw: "I twittered your husband". Classic.

    Cheers.
  • Congratulations Dave! The best part are the looks of confusion on their faces when they say "Tweets". :-)

    Here's to 8000 more!
  • Thanks Susan. Funny, because none of them knew what Twitter is. I thought at
least the Radio Shack dudes would know, but nope.

    Cheers,
    Dave
  • Dave that is AWESOME! Such a great way to celebrate... those people must have wondered what they were even saying. Hope to see you at the Big Bang next week!
  • I'll be at the Bang for sure. Thanks for your comment. It was pretty funny
to do. Most people were fine with it, actually like 99% said yes.

    Cheers

  • This is awesome Dave! Leave it to you to come up with something so fun!
  • Thanks CC:
So good to hear from you. What are your summer plans? Coming to visit
    Nashvegas?

  • Dave, you're a nut!! Do any of these people know what a tweet is? LOL. Congratulations.

  • Thanks Rob. It was fun to create. :-)
  • Dave,
Just put the Twitter down and back away. Back far far away...

    Nice job!
  • Thanks Jackie. Great to hear from you too. Any plans to head to Nashville?
    Let's keep in touch!

    Cheers,
    Dave
  • that was twitterlicious! Congrats Dave! Have you contacted twitter to see if you set a record?
  • Thanks Rodney. I *know* I haven't. There's plenty of way more
Twitter-obsessed folks that me out there in Twitterland.

    Cheers.
    Dave
  • Dave, per our Twitter conversation, I can comment on your blog IMMEDIATELY, but not on those other two...kudos my friend. I'll have to let those other blogs know.

  • Oh I see. So your friends must have something configured incorrectly in Disqus. Ok, thanks for letting me know. I was concerned that perhaps some people were unable to comment on my blog. Good to know everything is working then.

I'm a fan of Disqus so far, I'm quite happy with the service. I just logged in and found a great new widget too. I've just installed it in my right sidebar on my blog. Check it out.

    Cheers,
    Dave
