A couple of weeks ago I held an Ebay auction for my magic 8,000 tweet card. If you’ve been following my MacBook Mission story, then I’m sure you’re already aware of it. • Four pages of chat just to put explain adding HTML to eBay? Wow.
  • Great to hear from you. Yes, it's pretty crazy. When you read through it
you'll see how many times I had to repeat the question. I even provided
screen shots of examples of what I was trying to achieve, so that I was
certain I was being clear. I don't know if this is the result of outsourcing
to poorly trained staff, or simply poorly trained staff.

I highly doubt I'll get an answer from Ebay.

    Do you still use Ebay?
  • I do from time to time. I've not tried anything to crazy when it comes to extensive HTML in the description. I'm of the school that if the item listing looks fairly basic, then it's most likely just an individual user trying to sell a thing. When it looks like a corporate Web site, I stay away, because I know I'm probably not getting a deal.
  • That's a good point, I'm of that mind too. The only reason why I needed to
use HTML was to share the video which featured the item in it. Otherwise,
the explanation just would not be enough.

    Cheers.
