I have used and it is a good addon though there are other ways you can synchronize your bookmarks.

Almost the same here, I have 2 account, one for private stuff other for sharing. Foxmark would be great for the first one huh... :D

That's true too, however I prefer to use social bookmarking services to
"share" items. My bookmarks tend to be private.

you can just use one of the social bookmarking sites to organize your bookmarks. since these bookmarks are public, you can access from anywhere and any machine. no firefox addons needed and you can categorize the bookmarks by tags as well
