Gmail Error Page - A bad way to start a work week

This Gmail error page is scaring me (click to view it). I need to log into my email, but I’m seeing the above Temporary 502 Server Error page. Do you notice the word “Beta” there? Is Google back in Beta? Is this something we should be worried about?

    I've been experiencing some slowness in loading the non-simple-html version, but if I click for the html, it goes faster. GTalk is working fine. Thunderbird too. I have gmail in POP and IMAP in two clients, and everything is smooth... I do see the Beta logo...

    Thanks for your update. It ended up fixing itself after an hour or so, but it was a very scary way to start the day. Some times we forget how dependent we are on Google, eh?
