  • Honestly, I think this is something that you would need to push the major cable and internet companies on. The main reason so many people have dial-up or no internet is because it is expensive to reach those laces and/or companies like comcast are content with keeping them at dial-up, not educating them on an upgrade (the latter is more of a guess). But companies like comcast and at&t i would imagine are the only ones with both the resources and know how to reach these places. What's sad is that while it would be an expensive outing (hence why they don't do it), I would bet that the profits would make it worth it.
  • I wonder if the use of white space on US television networks (and hopefully
    Canada) might offer a solution. I'm no expert in it though.
