That is one awesome idea for a birthday present. Very cool. :) You're one great brother.

    Thanks Lizzie.
Great brother? I don't know, we've had out differences over the years. I
suppose all siblings have their differences, eh? :-)

We once mailed a lobster dinner to my cousin when he got married. You can do
this here: http://www.lobsterdirect.com/ (I've never used "this" service)
Also, nothing says Happy Birthday like barbecue:

    Cheers!

Dave - what a completely creative and great idea! I'm sure your brother really appreciates having a brother like you.

Thanks Scott. It was a fun thing to do, but actually a little more
complicated than I wrote in my original post.

A step I left out calling the bar, rather than email. I started the process
by calling them, but kept getting an answering machine in Swiss German. So I
had no idea what their hours are, or if they are even still open. I thought
I could better explain what I was trying to do by speaking to someone there
    directly.

I reached out to my peeps on Twitter for some help: http://snurl.com/2r0fh

Eventually I heard back from *@danielerossi<http://twitter.com/danielerossi>
    * who was able to translate it as "the persons not here please leave a
message". So that's when I decided to email them instead.

I'm glad it all worked out though.
