It was&lt;br&gt;edited quite substantially.&lt;br&gt;I know what you mean too, I agree that it's easier for people to use&lt;br&gt;cloud computing and simply hope for the best. However, I do think that&lt;br&gt;users need to be more diligent with backing things up.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ok developers, who's going to come up with an auto-backup-er for&lt;br&gt;Google docs, etc? :-)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;D</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">davedelaney</dc:creator><pubDate>Thu, 11 Sep 2008 11:48:17 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: My CBC interview - Getting locked out of the cloud</title><link>http://blog.davemadethat.com/2008/09/10/my-cbc-interview-getting-locked-out-of-the-cloud/#comment-2285047</link><description>&lt;i&gt;Disclaimer: I did not listen (yet), but will later.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I've heard from people who have been locked out of Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, etc., and, while I agree that it's worth it to pose the question "Is cloud computing all it's cracked up to be?", I worry it's also futile. For the vast majority of those who've only experienced the immense convenience of Google Documents, for example, how do you convince them to go back to Word (other than having them get locked out)?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Anyway, I'll listen to the interview and see what the alternative is, how cloud computing is getting more/less secure, and all the other wonderful things I'm sure the interview addresses before piping in more.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">mattbigelow</dc:creator><pubDate>Thu, 11 Sep 2008 11:01:53 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
