I'm not officially
working with 24-7 yet, but it's likely I'll be doing some work for them I
hope.

Yes, Mike is awesome. Glad he was able to make you smile.

Dave

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Thanks Ed. Mike is a great guy. I'm looking forward to the prospect of
working with him on this project. We'll see how it shapes up.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Thanks for the comment and the link Hans. I'm hoping 24-7 is huge, which I'm certain it will be.
I also hope to be helping Mike more and more with it, we'll see how that
shapes up.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Definitely ping me if you visit, or better yet, MOVE!
Thanks.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Thanks for the tip. I'm anal about backing stuff up. Too many pictures of my
family that could disappear forever if I'm not diligent.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Hi Nicholas and Mitch:
Thanks for the kind words. I'll be sure to keep you in the loop as I learn
more.
CC rocks, but that's a given, eh?

Cheers.
Dave

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Dave, this made me totally smile. I'm so happy to see the community coming together to help one of their own. Mike's gesture is something I think everyone will remember. If possible, I would like to be included with the beta launch for Nashville 24-7. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Very cool Dave. I remember Jeff Ray speaking rather highly of Mike (I used to work with Jeff in KC before he zipped off to Nashville). Great to hear that he's diving into some new media initiatives. Best of luck to him, and best of luck to you as you utilize the gift in your work.

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Dave,

that is great. Back in business :-) Good to see that there are guys like Mike. This will be the deciding factors for which "old school media" channels will stay afloat in the future. And it show me that Gary Vaynerchuk is so dead on with this theory: http://tinyurl.com/33txq2

Cheers, Hans

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Congrats, Dave. Thanks for the link, and I can't wait to see what you guys do with Nashville 24-7 :)

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Cool story Dave. It's great to see people like Mike step out and lead change instead of resisting it. I'd love to see the beta version of the site. And I simply must get to Nashville soon. Who knows, opportunity there might make me a resident?

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Congratulations, Dave. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. You've got the same MacBook I got a year ago when I crossed over from the dark side. Make sure you back it up, my HDD crashed after less than a year. The Nashville 24-7 venture sounds intriguing, let me know if you need ever need a certified GWC (Guy With Camera) for still photography coverage.

Re: My MacBook Mission - Accomplished!

Way to go man.
