They run the meetings in a systematic way where all participants are given 30 seconds to stand up to introduce themselves and their field of expertise. Something like that.

Re: Nashville Geek Breakfast RSVP choice

BNI?

Cheers,
Dave / www.davemadethat.com

Re: Nashville Geek Breakfast RSVP choice

Is the Geek Breakfast done in the format similar to BNI?

Re: Nashville Geek Breakfast RSVP choice

Awesome. Looks pretty full-featured, though.

Re: Nashville Geek Breakfast RSVP choice

Hey thanks Lizzie. It's my pleasure. It's always nice to get the folks out
to connect over fatty foods and caffeine :-)

I hope you're doing well. I don't want
to have to introduce yet another way to RSVP. What experiences do you have
with pingg? I've never used it. Any good?

Thanks.

Re: Nashville Geek Breakfast RSVP choice

Have you considered http://www.pingg.com/ ? I don't think it handles recurring events much better than Eventbrite or Facebook, but it does allow participants to RSVP without having to register for an account and it does integrate with Twitter and Facebook.

Also, if you mainly want recurring events, why not Meetup? Doesn't it do those decently?
