    I also recommend setting these name-oriented keywords into a Google Reader search string as well. Then read the results as Google Reader often removes their contextual permalinks.

    You can also use our Terraminds twitter search: http://terraminds.com/twitter/
    It also provides search in twitter users and archives that go back 3 months.

    The "Add to Search Bar" extension for Firefox turns any input box on the net into a Firefox search engine - which means that searching Twitter (or your local library catalog) is as easy as searching Google.

    I use this all the time for LinkedIn searches, e.g. and for Twitter searches w/Terraminds.

    Thanks Dave for the link love. Tweet Scan offers a direct firefox search plugin as a link on the page called "Install Search". If anyone has any suggestions for features they'd like to see, message @weex or come check out our humble blog. I'd also like to point out our click button that lets you cycle your saved searches automatically similar to google reader's next button. Take care.
