Wolves in sheep’s clothing, a warning for job seekers

I’m keeping my options wide open in the coming weeks as far as employment is concerned. I’m excited about the consulting and full time possibilities that lie ahead. What I’m not excited about is the potential con artists who take advantage of people looking for work.

    Excellent work, Dave. At a low point in my job search a few years ago I fell prey to a company such as this and wasted my time with a first interview. It was creepy. The "recruiter" didn't have anything personal in her office, such as family photos or even mail on the desk, leading me to believe that a traveling cast of characters could roll in and out of the same office for snake oil presentations.

    Thanks Kelly. I've been suckered before too. Even to the extent of actually taking a job. I was young and stupid. Thank god for the Interwebz :-)
